| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Monday, November 10, 2014 Media Contact: Markus Owens, ENV Public Information Officer, 768-3454 ENV sponsoring Adopt-A-Block this Saturday in Ewa HONOLULU – The Department of Environmental Services (ENV) Storm Water Quality Branch is conducting its final Make A Difference Month cleanup this Saturday, November 15, in Ewa. The Ewa Clean and Green Patrol is hosting the Ewa Adopt-A- Block cleanup. The event will focus on picking up debris in Varona Village and runs from 8 a.m. to noon. To volunteer for the event, contact 388-3019. ENV partners with businesses, schools, public officials, the state and military organizations. The cleanups provide educational materials on reducing trash. Participants should dress to get dirty and bring the following: water, hat, old covered shoes and sunscreen. All participants must sign a release form to participate.
