Kinau St. will start after the State project in the Kinau off ramp is completed. Remove existing flap gates and install new check valves at outlet pipes in State channel fronting Kam Highway. Construct new DMH upstream of new check valves. Re-grade swale and adjust DI to provide positive drainage into existing drain system. Upgrade concrete wall at outlet pipes at State channel. Remove debris and sediment from existing storm drains and channel area. Dewater State channel and install temporary dewatering dams. At the intersection of Ahua Street and Awaawaloa Street, abandon existing storm drain on Ahua Street and install new storm drain MH on upstream end of abandoned pipe. Repaving of King, Peterson and Pua Lane is complete. Punchlist items and reconstruction of Tamashiro Market driveway remain. (Estimated completion date, July 2011) Saint Louis Heights Sewer Rehabilitation: Installation of cured in place pipe (CIPP), manhole rehabilitation, and lateral rehabilitation throughout Saint Louis Heights. The contractor will also install new sewer lines via pipe bursting at 3 locations along Saint Louis Drive and one easement location between Saint Louis Drive and Frank Street. Vehicles will be prohibited in Ala Moana Park from 10 pm Saturday, 7/3 until 4 am Sunday, 7/4.
