FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE                                                                                     August 1, 2012    KALIHI VALLEY PEOPLE'S OPEN MARKET CLOSED ON ELECTION DAY   (Wed., August 1, 2012)— The City's People's Open Market (POM) at Kalihi Valley District Park will be closed on primary election day, Saturday, August 11, 2012.  The Kaewai Elementary School, located near the market, will be used as a polling site for voters.  The Kalihi Valley POM will be reopened the following Saturday, August 18.   All other POMs will be operating on regular schedule.             For more information, contact David Lee, 522-7088.     -30-
