| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE February 23, 2012 KALAKAUA AVENUE TREE REMOVAL (Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012)—A Department of Parks and Recreation Urban Forestry Division contractor will remove two Ironwood trees on Kalakaua Avenue across Kapiolani Park Bandstand tomorrow (Friday), February 24. The removal of the trees is necessary for public safety, as the base of both trees are decaying.
