LANE CLOSURE ON KAMOKILA BOULEVARD OPPOSITE OF NAU PLACE

(Thur., Dec. 30, 2010)---One eastbound right lane on Kamokila Boulevard in Kapolei will be closed 24-hours, four consecutive days starting Monday, January 10, through Thursday, January 13, due to roadway construction work.

Workers will be constructing a concrete bus pad opposite of Nau Place on the makai side of Kamokila Boulevard fronting the Campbell Estate Building.

Kamokila Boulevard traffic lanes will be temporarily adjusted from two lanes to one on the eastbound approach to Manawai Street.  Motorists are advised to use caution in this area.

During the closure, motorists are being asked to avoid this section of Kamokila Boulevard if possible.  Motorists who normally use Kamokila Boulevard to access the Campbell Estate Building and the Bank of Hawaii Building are advised to take Haumea Street as an alternative.

Bus patrons normally using the Kamokila Boulevard bus stop opposite Nau Place are asked to use a temporary bus stop on Kamokila Boulevard located before Manawai Street.  For more information, please see www.thebus.org or call 848-5555.
