Friday, October 24, 2014 Mayor Caldwell's Press Office: 768-5768 (cell 489-0341)   Traffic Advisory: Kapi'olani Boulevard – Construction and maintenance projects   Honolulu – The City and County of Honolulu's Department of Facility Maintenance is advising motorists and local residents that a contractor will perform sidewalk repairs, curb and gutter repairs, and tree trimming along Kapi'olani Boulevard next week.  Construction and maintenance activity will include the following:   Tuesday, October 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. One Ewa-bound lane of Kapi'olani Boulevard, between McCully Street and Hau'oli Street, will be closed.   Wednesday, October 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Two Ewa-bound lanes of Kapi'olani Boulevard, between McCully Street and Hau'oli Street, will be closed.   Thursday, October 30, Friday, October 31 and Monday, November 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. One Ewa-bound lane of Kapi'olani Boulevard, between McCully Street and Hau'oli Street, will be closed.   Motorists are advised to use alternate routes during construction hours, if possible, and to allow for additional travel time.  Drivers that must travel through the work area are asked to abide by posted traffic signs.    -END-
