Wednesday, October 15, 2014 Contact: Maeda Timson, Public Information Officer, 768-8445   Rehabilitation of Liholiho Street Box Culvert   Honolulu – The City and County of Honolulu's Department of Design and Construction will begin rehabilitation of the Liholiho Street Box Culvert located on Liholiho Street between Wilder Avenue and Heulu Street.   The public is advised that construction work is scheduled to begin October 20, 2014, with a contract duration of 180 calendar days.  The project includes repair of concrete members, traffic control measures, and removal and placing of new steel railings. Liholiho Street Box Culvert Bridge will be a one-lane-only bridge open to normal traffic during work hours, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and will be open or closed to normal traffic during non-working hours, depending on repair work conditions.  Motorists are advised to use alternate routes, expect delays, and to observe caution when proceeding through the project area, observe all traffic controls and posted signs, and stay alert for construction personnel and equipment.           -END-
