MAYOR CARLISLE'S ADMINISTRATION SEEKS APPLICANTS FOR KEY POSTS

 

(Fri., Oct. 29, 2010)—Mayor Peter Carlisle today announced that his newly-formed administration is seeking applicants for key cabinet and staff positions with the City and County of Honolulu. 

 

           According to Acting Managing Director Doug Chin, individuals are encouraged to submit resumes and cover letters stating their interests in particular posts and subject areas in City government.

 

            "Mayor Carlisle is looking to fill positions in several City departments, with the clear objective of assembling the most professional team possible as the City faces the challenges ahead," said Chin.

 

The Carlisle administration is particularly looking for highly qualified applicants for cabinet and sub-cabinet positions in the departments of Budget and Fiscal Services, Facility Maintenance, Parks and Recreation, Planning and Permitting, Corporation Counsel, and the Royal Hawaiian Band.  Chin emphasized that the City is an equal opportunity employer.
