Ala Moana Regional Park Master Plan Meeting on Tuesday Mar. 10

Ala Moana – Members of the public are welcome to attend and actively participate in the first Ala Moana Regional Park Master Plan meeting and programming on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, beginning at 6 p.m. at McCoy Pavilion.

Comments are encouraged now and during the meeting on a new interactive community participation application available at www.ouralamoanapark.com.

The workshop will focus on the future of Ala Moana Beach Park as a world-class park and well-utilized community resource for generations to come.  Plans for the park’s future will stem from how people use the park today and want to use the park going forward.

Tuesday’s meeting is the beginning of a public dialogue that will integrate how the community views the park, what you love about the park, and what changes you’d like made to Ala Moana Regional Park.

Parking is limited and it’s recommended to arrive in advance of the meeting to find parking.  Please bring Wi-Fi enabled laptops, smartphones, or tablets to participate in interactive online sessions during the meeting.

For more information, please visit www.ouralamoanapark.com and follow hashtag #alamoanabeachpark on social media.
