NIGHT WORK WITH TWO LANE CLOSURE ON ALAPAI STREET BETWEEN BERETANIA STREET AND SOUTH KING STREET

 

(Tues., September 13, 2011)—The two far right lanes on Alapai Street between South King Street and Beretania Street will be closed for water main construction work on Thursday, September 15 at 7 p.m. to Friday, September 16 at 3:30 a.m. This project is to cut and cap an existing 8" water main. Depending on the progress of the work, closures could also occur on the evening of Friday, September 16.   Motorists are advised to use caution in this area.

 

            Bus patrons using the Alapai Street bus stops during the construction are asked to use a temporary bus stop located within the Alapai Transit Center. Buses will be re-routed to enter from South King Street and exit on Alapai Street. For more bus information, please see www.thebus.org or call 848-5555.
