LANE CLOSURE ON KAILUA ROAD AT THE ONEAWA STREET INTERSECTION

 

(Fri., April 1, 2011) —The curb lane of the double right-turn lanes of Kailua Road fronting the new Whole Foods Market project in Kailua will be closed 24-hours, five consecutive days starting Mon., April 4, through Fri., April 8, due to roadway construction work. 

 

            Workers will be constructing a concrete bus pad at the existing bus stop located within the double right-turn lane area of Kailua Road between the triangle park and the new Whole Foods Market project.

 

            The Kailua Road double right-turn will be temporarily adjusted from two lanes to one lane beginning at the driveway to McKenna Ford, just makai of Hoolai Street.  Motorists are advised to use caution in this area and to use alternative routes if possible.

 

            Bus patrons normally using this Kailua Road bus stop are asked to use the temporary bus stop located on Kailua Road, just before Hinano Lane. For more bus information please see www.thebus.org or call 848-5555.
