(Wed., Dec. 15, 2010)—The section of Kukui Street from Queen Emma Street to Pali Highway will reopen to traffic at 3 p.m. today and remain open during peak traffic periods. The section was closed yesterday afternoon because of an accident involving a contractor's paving equipment. Road work will resume tomorrow and require closure of the section during weekday non-peak daytime hours (from 8:30 am to 3 p.m.) until the project is completed in approximately one week.
