| November 28, 2014 Mayor Caldwell's Press Office: 768-5768 (cell 489-0341) Blaisdell Center traffic and parking advisory for Thanksgiving weekend KAKA'AKO – The Department of Enterprise Services advises the public that due to the large number of people expected to attend multiple events at the Blaisdell Center this Friday through Sunday, there will be increased daytime and evening traffic on streets surrounding the complex. Overflow parking will be available at McKinley High School, accessible via Pensacola Street. Please plan ahead as parking will be limited and lot closures may be frequent. Gabriel Iglesias hosts two comedy shows at the arena on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., while Daniel Tosh will perform comedy at the concert hall Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. The Hawaii Symphony Orchestra performs at the concert hall Sunday at 4 p.m. Meanwhile, the 28th Islandwide Christmas Crafts & Food Expo will be held at the exhibition hall Friday from 4 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. -END- |
