APEC-RELATED TEMPORARY BUS DETOURS ON NOVEMBER 9 AND 10 FROM 7 P.M.-6 A.M. (Wed., Nov. 9, 2011)—The Department of Transportation Services is alerting the public that due to APEC preparations along Kalia and Saratoga Roads, TheBus service will be detoured on November 9 and 10, 2011.  Kalia Road and Saratoga Road will be closed to bus traffic today and tomorrow starting at about 7 p.m. and extending through 6 a.m. each day.              During these periods, all bus stops along Kalia and Saratoga Roads will be closed.  Eastbound buses will enter Waikiki by continuing mauka of Kalia Road along Ala Moana Boulevard to Kalakaua Avenue and Kuhio Avenue.  Westbound buses leaving the Waikiki area will proceed along Kuhio Avenue to Kalakaua Avenue, right onto Pau Street, left onto Ala Wai Boulevard, left onto Niu Street and return to Ala Moana Boulevard.  Riders in the vicinity of Kalia Road should use regular and temporary bus stops on Ala Moana Boulevard. -30- Contact:  Glenn Moir, Public Transit Division at 768-8370
