Traffic Advisory:  School Street Construction   (Mon., March 28, 2011)—City and County of Honolulu contractor, MIRA Image Construction, continues work tonight on emergency repair work on School Street after a sink hole last Monday created an opening in the road near Nuuanu Avenue.            One westbound lane on School Street will be continuously open from Nuuanu Avenue to Aala Street and the H-1 freeway until the work is completed on Thursday.                   The sink hole did not break a sewer pipe, but it did damage an adjacent manhole and concrete vault. Crews removed debris inside the sewer tunnel caused by the sink hole and repaired the top portion of the chamber.
