Volunteers wishing to participate in the Ewa Beach cleanup should check in Saturday, Oct. 16, at 8 a.m., at either Campbell High School parking lot (North Road) or the Ewa Beach drainage channel. Those on the Windward side who want to participate in the Kailua event should check in Sunday, Oct. 17, at 8 a.m., at Huakailani School.  Cleanups begin at 8:30 a.m. and last two hours.

Participants should dress to get dirty and bring the following:  water, hat, old shoes and sunscreen.  All participants must sign release forms to participate in the cleanups.

ENV will hand out educational materials on healthy yard and clean stream practices as part of its Adopt-A-Stream program, and on reducing trash for its Adopt-A-Block program. ENV partners with businesses, schools, public officials, the state and military organizations.
