| August 26, 2014 Contact: Jon Hennington, Department of Parks and Recreation PIO, 768-3046 Temporary relocation of Wahiawa People's Open Market Wahiawa – The People's Open Market at Wahiawa District Park will be temporarily relocated to the other side of the park. Normally held along California Avenue, the market will take place in the Kilani Avenue parking lot beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, August 26 until further notice. A project to repave the parking lot on California Avenue began today and is scheduled to be completed before the end of this year. Another public announcement will be made when the market returns to its original California Avenue location. The day and time of the market, Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., will remain the same. -END- |
