FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE August 3, 2012 MAYOR CARLISLE WELCOMES SISTER-CITY DELEGATION FROM (Fri., Aug. 3, 2012)Mayor Peter Carlisle today welcomed to Honolulu a delegation from Kaohsiung City, Republic of China (Taiwan) to commemorate fifty years of sister-city ties and sign a reaffirmation agreement. "The City and The reaffirmation agreement signed by To celebrate, the City will present a special Aloha Concert tomorrow (Sat., Aug. 4, 2012) from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm at the Mission Memorial Auditorium, featuring performances by I-Bei Lin, University of Hawaii Associate Professor of Cello and Chamber Music; pianist Eric Wu; the Ka-Im Choir performing Taiwanese songs; Hula and Hawaiian music; and The World Games Tai-Zi group, performing the Techno Prince Nezha dance. The concert is free and open to the public.
