FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE                                                                                        April 16, 2012     KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY IN KANEOHE TRAFFIC ADVISORY TREE REMOVAL   (Mon., April 16, 2012)— A Department of Parks and Recreation Urban Forestry Division contractor will remove a False Kamani tree on Kamehameha Highway near Likelike Highway tomorrow, (Tuesday), April 17. The work is expected to be completed by Wednesday, April 18.               Lane closures will occur in the curb lane, and intermittently in the center lane, to allow the contractor access to the tree and to safely complete the removal of its branches.  During the closure, motorists are encouraged to exercise caution and avoid Kamehameha Highway, if possible.               -30-       Media contact:  Clark Leavitt, Acting Park Grounds Improvement Supervisor II, 971-7151
