Hau'ula Beach Park Outdoor Warning Siren to be tested tomorrow morning The City Department of Emergency Management in conjunction with Hawaii State Civil Defense will test an outdoor warning siren tomorrow morning Wednesday, October 12, 2011 between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM. The siren is located at: ·        Hau'ula Beach Park in Hau'ula The test is being conducted to ensure that the siren is operating at full power and providing optimal range.  Residents and businesses in the surrounding communities may hear the steady siren tone during the test and should not be alarmed. Hawaii State Civil Defense funds the purchase and installation of these sirens.  Once they are installed, they are released to the City for monthly testing and emergency activation.
