CITY BUS SERVICE TURNS 40 TODAY(Tues., March 1, 2011)The City's awarding-winning public bus service turns 40 years old today. TheBus began under Mayor Frank Fasi on March 1st, 1971, and has expanded to become the respected "From its modest first headquarters under a banyan tree that is now the site of a child-care facility, TheBus has grown and expanded to include routes serving the entire island," City Transportation Director Wayne Y.
