Formby, Director Construction notice: Civic Center Parking Garage entrance closure Contractor:                  NAN, Inc.                                        Project:                        Off-Site Utilities Improvements  Original Closure:         Monday, December 22, 2014 to Friday, January 2, 2015  Revised Closure:         Extended to Friday, January 9, 2015                          Work Location:           Civic Center Parking Garage, Alapa'i Street Ground Floor Parking Entrance Nature of Work:          Underground Hawaiian Telephone and telecommunication duct lines from the Civic Center across Alapa'i Street to the corner of North Hotel Street                                  Point of Contact:        Gregory Hee, Phone 768-8389                                     Department of Transportation Services          Pedestrians, bicyclists and motorists are notified of construction activity requiring the closure of the ground floor vehicle entrance to the Civic Center Parking Structure off Alapa'i to January 9, 2015.  The entrance closure was to end on January 2, 2015, however due to unforeseen underground utility conflicts; the closure needs to extend to January 9, 2015.  Those needing access to the Civic Center parking garage during the affected dates and times should use the Beretania Street entrance.  -END-
