Thursday, June 5, 2014 Contact: Jesse Broder Van Dyke, 768-6928 Hong Kong-China Business, Tourism, Technology & Investment Forum Honolulu The City and County of Honolulu, in partnership with the Hong Kong Business Association of Hawaii (HKBAH), is announcing the inaugural Hong Kong-China Business, Tourism, Technology & Investment Forum, which will take place at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort tomorrow, Friday, June 6, 2014. The event, titled "China's Next Chapter: How to Tap into the New Opportunities," will address a broad range of practical, legal and financial considerations for developing and expanding business opportunities in the Hong Kong and China markets. "China has the fastest growing economy in the world and the country's GDP is now second only to the United States," said Mayor Kirk Caldwell. "This forum is a great resource for the people of Oahu to learn how to tap into emerging economic opportunities in China and Hong Kong." Held in beautiful Waikiki, the forum will offer a variety of presentations and networking opportunities, and feature numerous notable speakers and subject matter experts, including: Mr. Yanjun Li, Director, Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, China International Economic Cooperation Society; Mr. Daniel R.
