FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE September 6, 2012 (Thurs., Sept. 6, 2012)The Department of Transportation Services (DTS) announced today that TheBus will be servicing limited extended hours for Route 40 into the University of Hawaii-West Oahu (UHWO) campus starting tomorrow, Friday, September 7. Currently, the Route 40 bus service to the UHWO campus ends with the 5:47 p.m. westbound run and the 5:59 p.m. eastbound run. DTS found a way to run Route 40 for extended hours in the eastbound direction only at the following times: 6:39 p.m., 7:31 p.m., 8:29 p.m., 9:23 p.m., and 10:23 p.m. The eastbound Route 40 will allow students to reach the

"We appreciate the cooperation that UH-West Oahu has shown us in working to implement this improvement for students, faculty and staff," said DTS Director Wayne Yoshioka.
