| TRAFFIC ADVISORY: STORM DRAIN CLEANING AT KALIA AND SARATOGA ROAD (Thu., June 28, 2012) − Department of Facility Maintenance Road Maintenance crews will be cleaning storm drains in Waikiki along Kalia Road and at the intersection of Kalia Road and Saratoga Road on July 2, 3, 5 and 6. The work will require lane closures between 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and to anticipate traffic delays in the area. The maintenance crew will begin work on the drain box on the makai side of the Kalia Road/Saratoga Road intersection, near the walkway leading to the ocean. Work will continue eastward along Kalia Road toward Lewers Street. The makai, diamond head-bound traffic lane will be closed between Beach Walk and Lewers. HPD special duty will provide traffic control to direct traffic around the work sites.
