Honolulu Police Department Recognizes Outstanding Employees  (Fri., February 17, 2012)—Honolulu Police Chief Louis M. Kealoha will present awards to sworn and civilian personnel who have excelled in their duties or in helping the community during the fourth quarter of 2011.  The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, February 22, at 11 a.m. at Windward Mall, Center Court. A Honolulu police officer will receive the department's second highest award, the Warrior Silver Medal of Valor.  A community member will receive the Civilian Medal of Valor, and some of the members of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Planning Group will each receive the Bronze Medal of Merit.  Other awards include the Unit and Employee of the Quarter and Certificates of Merit.
