LANE CLOSURE ON MOANALUA ROAD IN AIEA (Thur., June 16, 2011)−The right ῾Ewa-bound lane on Moanalua Road will be closed 24-hours, five consecutive days from Monday, June 20, through Friday, June 24 to construct a bus pad between Ka῾amilo Street and Nalopaka Place. Two ῾Ewa-bound lanes on Moanalua Road will be temporarily realigned on the approach to the Ka῾amilo Street intersection. The "left turn only" lane onto makai-bound Ka῾amilo Street will be designated as a through lane across the intersection. Motorists wanting to turn left at the intersection will be detoured to Keanae Street. Motorists are advised to use caution in this area. During the closure, motorists are encouraged to avoid Moanalua Road and encouraged to take alternative routes such as Kamehameha Highway. The Moanalua Road, ῾Ewa-bound bus stop at the intersection at Ka῾amilo Street will be closed for the bus pad construction.
